‘The Forbidden Fruit’ actress laid to rest

‘The Forbidden Fruit’ actress Sediqeh Kianfar has been laid to rest in Iran’s capital, Tehran.

On Monday, the veteran actress died at the age of 87 of cardiac arrest.

Her funeral took place on Wednesday, with a number of artists attending the ceremony.

Kianfar began her career on Abadan Naft Radio in 1957. She made her debut movie ‘The Crisis’ in 1987.

She appeared in many films and series such as ‘Hamoon’, ‘I Like the Earth’, ‘The Valley of a Thousand Lanterns’ and ‘The Young Lawyers’.

‘The Passenger’, ‘Earth and Fire’, ‘A World Filled with Hope’ and ‘Good, Bad, Ugly’ are also among the works she took part in.

She also played a role in ifilm series ‘The Forbidden Fruit’.
